See more WebJan 8, 2015 · I fixed the obsidian problem by adding a new identical iron pickaxe with a diamond harvest level. For survival there should be no problem, the crafting is changed to the new pickaxe. For /give, use "nodiamonds:iron_pickaxe" instead of "minecraft:iron_pickaxe". It's available in the tools creative tab too.

This works fine except when my OreMithril block is mined by diamond pickaxe. It should not be able to harvest it since I set the block to harvest level 2.
