While some will argue that the falling ratings are due to storylines, this is linear TV in general these days. Audience figures are dropping across the board as streaming services become the norm for the younger generation. It will never get the viewers that it did 15 years ago, even 10.

The way it was worded was implying that EE’s consolidated ratings were double that of the ITV soaps when taking everything into account. The consolidated ratings posted there are still nothing to write home about as they’re still shit.
