WebOct 15, 2024 · My highest round count 1911 is probably my 8 year old WC CQB in .45. I bought it used in 2024. I have no idea of round count, but it definitely was a shooter. I’ve shot 100ish through it. All of my heavy use 1911s are steel, and I like it that way. Are you just trying to beat a gun to death? The steel guns are much easier to shoot with the extra weight.
