Web17 mei 2005 · Crown molding shouldn't create much of a problem, if any. Depending on the construction of the walls, the crown molding could be slightly more reflective. However, the molding also will have some shape to it which should help diffuse the reflections. I wouldn't worry about the crown molding. I can get behind crown molding easily and then have some sort of plinth or keystone block in the middle above the TV and route the cables down.
