WebMay 18, 2024 · Sounded terrible of course, but everything seemed fine. I continued to where I was going just fine. No lights or errors on the dash. When I got back in 2 hours latter and started the car I got this on the dash display: "Steering Defective. Do Not Drive Vehicle" (and the red steering warning light). The car had zero power assist to the steering.
