Reading guitar chords
WebOpen chords are the ones that you play in the first three frets of the guitar. They’re called ‘open’ because these chords have ‘open’ strings in them. Those are strings that you do pick (with your right hand), but don’t fret (with your left hand). You might’ve already learned open chords such as Am, C, D, Em and G.
